Conference and guest facilities
As a boutique resort, we accommodate up to 40 delegates in 20 luxury villas, with exclusive use of our intimate ocean-view conference room and pool-side dining room. In this exquisitely remote setting, all the amenities you require for your conference are at your fingertips, including a high resolution data projector, projection screen, white board, sound system, wi-fi internet access and coffee making facilities. You can even select from a variety of seating configurations, ranging from theatre and conference-style to boardroom and cabaret set-ups.
Dining and indulgences
Enjoying an easterly aspect, overlooking the pool, our spacious dining room makes a stunning breakfast setting, whether you opt to dine indoors or alfresco on the upper balcony or lower pool deck.
Just like our fine local ingredients, our culinary team has been hand-picked to plate up the finest cuisine in the Kimberley. Our Executive Chef, James Ward, boasts an impressive fine dining pedigree, having worked with Rick Stein at Cornwall Island, Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir Aux Quat Saison and Thierry Gallachet at Montrachet.
James arrived at The Berkeley River Lodge from Bedarra Island Resort, so he is fully-equipped to manage the challenges of isolation. With prior notice, there is no product we can’t source and no dietary requirement we can’t meet. If you want it, you can have it.
We’ve taken just as much care over selecting service staff to deliver attentive, respectful service with just the right balance of fun. We even have a resident sommelier at hand to mix an amazing cocktail for you, based on seasonal ingredients grown in our very own gardens.

With the pristine Berkeley River and Joseph Bonaparte Gulf on our doorstep, our fishing competitions are always hotly contested. By boat or helicopter, our fishing tours put you within striking distance of the catch of a lifetime, with targets ranging from barramundi and threadfin salmon to queenfish and giant trevally.
Nothing invigorates the body and mind like a dip in a natural freshwater pool, or a shower beneath the secluded waterfalls and cascades of the Kimberley wilderness. Take to the skies in our Bell 407 helicopter in search of your own private plunge pool.
Follow the river’s winding course on a cruise through the wetlands and gorges, spotting estuarine crocodiles, brolgas, jabirus and more. Take a guided bushwalk or beach drive. Cast your eyes to a clear Kimberley night sky. Test your swing on our mangrove pitching range. Relax and refuel your imagination.
Luxury villas
Even from their luxury dune-top villa, your delegates will be inspired by their surroundings, with panoramic views taking in Timor Sea sunrises and Berkeley River sunsets. What’s more, each villa features a private outdoor bath for a soak beneath the Milky Way.
